And that is exactly what I have done!
The first person I told was David. Hearing the words: "I have breast cancer" for the first time, coming out of my own mouth, was surreal. The hours, days and now weeks that have followed have proven to me that I am indeed surrounded by my people! My love-humans. ❤️
I immediately started to share with people close to me. My brother. Close friends. People who I knew would be able to hold space for me, who could hold the vision of hope for me and who would send back so much love, that I would be able to battle anything thrown my way.
I didn't have a lot of information to share, but what I did know was that I needed to start the positive flow of energy around me, strengthening my shield, and building the resistance against negativity, fear and uncertainty.
Listen up CANCER, you have met your match! Game on.
I paced myself. Sharing only to a few at a time to avoid the tsumani of love and positive vibes that would come back to me 100x over. I wanted to be able to process, digest, and take it all in - harnessing the positivity with each exchange.
